Pray for the soul of
the REV'D PATRICK NOWLAN
who died 11th December 1863
in the 63rd year of his age.
Gentle and kind to all especially with
suffering and the poor, zealous in the
discharge of the duties of his sacred 
calling, simply and unaffected in character,
he earned during the 40 years of his
missionary labors the esteem of his
clerical brethren and the affections

Here lieth
the body of REV'D MICHAEL NOLAN
who discharged his duties of
parish priest of Myshall and Drumphea
for thirteeen years with great zeal.
He died on the 28th? Feb. 1852
aged 60 years.
He was a most sincere friend.
His last and most inmous(?) desire was
that the good people who may enter this holy place
would offer up a fervent prayer
for the repose of his immortal soul.
