Unidentified sourcebook of tombstone transcriptions
Here lieth the remains of MICHAEL NOLAN formerly of Carlow who departed this life 19th October 1836 aged 74 years. By honest Industry he acquired considerable property which during life and at his death he devoted to the Service of the poor. Here lie also the remains of his Brother JOHN NOLAN of Carlow who departed this life 30th Nov'r 1837 aged 72 yrs. He likewise anxious to store up for himself a good reward for the day of necessity was merciful according to his ability. Tobias 4 cap 8. 10v Likewise the remains of CATHERINE NOLAN Sister of the above MICHAEL & JOHN NOLAN who died full of good Works on the 29th August 1839 aged 80 years. May they rest in peace.
