In the most recent picture of the small tombstone with a cross it has regained the position it had in the 1940s picture but the inscription is almost unreadable. The transcription taken in the 1970s is as follows: "In memory of Michael, the beloved child of Thomas Nolan [and Agnes], died Aug 20, 1889, aged 9 yrs." ( click to view image )

In the most recent picture of the large cross shown in the 1940s and 1970s pictures, we see that the lower two tiers at the base of the cross have been removed with only the following inscription showing: "In loving memory of MARY ANNE NOLAN who died on March 11 1900 aged 18 years R.I.P." Also, in the most recent pictures the tombstone originally to the left of the large cross in earlier pictures is nowhere to be seen. Based upon a 1970s transcription it is believed to have read as follows: "Erected by Thomas Nolan of Graigue in memory of his father Michael Nolan Died May 16, 1878, age 78 Mother Julia Nolan, April 22, 186?, age 63 And sister Anne Nolan, May 11, 18??, age 35 Brother Matthew, died July 29, 1910, age 64" (no image)
Also the belov'd Children of THOMAS NOLAN, Rathlyon JOHN NOLAN Died 2nd March 1874, Aged 14 years. ELIZABETH NOLAN, Died 10th March 1879, Aged 17 years. In the 1940`s the base of the elaborate cross consisted of 3 tiers 2 of which bore the following inscription: "In loving memory of MARY ANNE NOLAN who died on March 11 1900 aged 18 years R.I.P. Also her mother AGNES NOLAN Died 24th May 1908, aged 59 yrs. And her father THOMAS NOLAN Died July 29th 1911, age 65 yrs." ( click to view image )
