Based upon an Email received in 2015 from Andrea Nolan ( andreabelle23@yahoo.com ), via the NolanFamilies.org website, we know that:

Her [Andrea’s] great great grandfather came to America [and according to family lore] he was a stowaway. It is known when he sailed, what ship he sailed on, where he left from or where he landed in America. It is believed that he landed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, due to his settling quickly in Georgia. He made it to South Georgia before the American Civil War, could have naturalized when he entered the war but the records are burned, along with all of his records.
